Sofía has been wonderful in changing how much my daughter is retaining. She used familiar shows, stories, and games (which my kid loves) to not only introduce new info, but to connect it to what she's teaching. She also doesn't shy away from using loads of Spanish when in conversation with her. At first I wondered if any of it was being understood, but after a few sessions like that, my daughter is catching more and more on her own without even realizing it! Sofía's methods are enjoyable, intentional, and effective. I am excited to see how far my daughter will go this year in her Spanish.

Sofia is a great teacher. I've known her since I was a kid, and the way she treated us was truly amazing. She is like a friend to me, and I would even say, she is like the big sister I've never had. She's very patient and teaches in a unique and efficient way.
