About Rashi

I have devoted my 5 years to students who have keen interest in art and have taught more than 200 students age ranging between 4 to 27, independently and as a part of several institutes. Also, as a traditional artist I tell stories with my work in print and canvas- all the while maintaining traditional ethics and values,

Week 1: Introduction to Painting Overview of different painting mediums (acrylics, watercolors, oils) Introduction to basic painting tools and materials Color theory basics (primary, secondary, and tertiary colors) Week 2: Understanding Composition Composition guidelines (rule of thirds, focal points) Creating a thumbnail sketch for a painting Value studies and understanding light and shadow Week 3: Getting Started with Acrylics Basic acrylic painting techniques (wet-on-dry, wet-on-wet, blending) Painting a simple still life or landscape using acrylics Week 4: Exploring Watercolors Introduction to watercolor techniques (wet-on-dry, wet-on-wet, dry brushing) Painting a simple floral or landscape using watercolors Week 5: Introduction to Oils Basic oil painting techniques (fat over lean, alla prima) Painting a simple portrait or still life using oils Week 6: Developing Your Style Experimenting with different styles and approaches to painting Finding inspiration and developing your creative voice Week 7: Advanced Techniques Advanced painting techniques (glazing, impasto, scumbling) Painting a more complex subject with emphasis on technique Week 8: Critique and Reflection Group critique of each other's work Reflecting on your progress and setting goals for future painting projects
