About Jack
Hi I'm Jack.
I spent the last six years teaching English and History in schools in Spain, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein, and now I've moved back home to Yorkshire to complete a master's degree.
I've also worked as the head of teaching at a UK summer school, and have tutored one-to-one or small groups throughout.
Wherever I've worked I've received glowing appraisals, and I like to think I quickly become most of my students' favourite teacher!
I have a strong academic record at GCSE, A-Level, and university, and multiple outstanding references from schools and former students.

I'm a firm believer that the best learning happens in a relaxed and friendly but academically rigorous classroom.
My ability to establish an excellent rapport with students of all ages has been commented on by all of my previous employers, but I expect students to work hard and to use their brains - thinking is key!
