I am experienced in teaching individual, small group, and large group lessons on every brass instrument, but specialise in French horn up to post grade 8 level. I like to keep my lessons engaging, interactive, fast moving and most importantly... tailored to the individual student. I teach Music holistically, incorporating aural perception, critical listening and music theory and brass technique into every lesson.

Alex has been teaching trumpet to my daughter for over a year and he has been a reliable, trustworthy, extremely competent and inspiring teacher. He is a great horn player and is enthusiastic about music. The lessons have worked well whether face to face or via zoom.
