About Cleo

My name is Cleo, I was born in Paris and I now live in London. I am passionate about learning and teaching languages, whether you are looking for speaking practice or preparing for an exam! Having moved to the UK with knowledge of formal English made me realise I did not have the tools to communicate in everyday conversations. So I really try to give my students the vocabulary and expressions they need to use the French language practically and to quickly develop a basic level which will allow you to communicate whilst travelling, within work or to speak to your French friend or partner!

About the lesson

Coming from a performance background, my lessons are very dynamic and engaging. I believe that learning a language should be a fun experience and I always make sure to adapt to my students' interests in order to build my lessons. Whether you are completely new to French or preparing for an exam, I will frame my lessons around your needs, and find a teaching approach that works for you. I often use games to help you understand the grammar, and even study your favourite songs to learn new vocabulary!
