SEA STAR STORY
A man went down to the beach to enjoy the sunrise on the ocean beach in the morning. In the distance, he sees someone on the beach. When he gets a little closer, he realizes that he is a child who throws the starfish that hit the beach into the ocean. He approaches the child and asks:
Why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?
Child says:
– When the sun rises, the waters recede. If I don't throw them into the water, they will die of thirst.
The man continues:
– The beach stretches for miles and there are thousands of starfish, which one to throw. What difference will it make?
After listening to the man, the boy throws another sea star into the ocean and answers:
– He noticed for this starfish.
The man realizes that the boy wants to make a difference, not just come to enjoy the ocean view, and join him and spend the morning throwing starfish into the ocean.
