About Sherry
I am 55 years old and have been in education for over 26 years. I plan to retire next year. My love for teaching has always been to help students better understand how to read and how to comprehend what you are reading. When I was younger, I had difficulty with comprehension, although I could read and spell anything you sat in front of me. This is how I come to teaching reading. I understand when kids have difficulty and I try to create ways to help them.

I have always taught Reading and love when my students begin to understand. I can teach how to read along with the elements of Reading. I expect my students to listen, follow directions, and to learn. I always try to get to know my students and find out things they do enjoy.
