About Advika

Hi, I’m Advika! I’ve been dancing for 12 years, training under a variety of instructors in styles like Kathak, Bollywood, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Choreography, Heels, and Afrobeats.

I’ve choreographed school performances, big Indian weddings, competitions, and led dance workshops. What makes my journey unique is dancing and teaching across different countries and cultures—helping me connect diverse styles and approaches to movement and expression.

For me, dance is more than performance—it’s a path to self-discovery, joy, and confidence. Whether you’re starting from scratch or want to refine your skills, I’m here to help you grow through dance.

About the lesson

I believe dance should be fun and freeing — a way to enjoy the moment and express yourself. My teaching style is flexible and tailored to your goals, whether you’re dancing for an event like weddings, fitness, skill-building, or just pure joy. Based on the number of hours you’d like to commit and your purpose, we’ll design a plan that works for you.

However, usually it starts with:
- Some warmup for flexibility and strength.
- Then some small combos that build up the muscle memory for the upcoming choreography and the foundational techniques.
- Then in end, the choreography.

I enjoy the classes a lot! I see new growth in every class for afro steps which can be very technical. But with drilling and practice, you are close to getting it the right way!
