About Leota
Teaching singing is my way of making sense of the complex mechanics behind a voice. I admit that navigating the transition from a nervous beginner to a confident performer remains the most challenging aspect of this discipline. My approach relies on the Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies I earned at the Royal College of Music.
I work with students who require diction and articulation, sight singing, microphone technique, and advanced belting technique. My practice is informed by 13 years of helping candidates prepare for exams or manage stage fear through specific warm up exercises. Rhythm, phrasing, and harmony singing form the bedrock of my instruction. I deliver consistent results by meeting every individual exactly where they are currently standing.

Focusing on the sound itself, I find that a singer who understands their instrument rarely needs to worry about the stage. Developing a personalised song list built around your specific range acts as the primary vehicle for our technical work.
I apply 13 years of experience to ensure every aspect of your vocal health is prioritised alongside artistic growth. We integrate 9.0 levels of technical precision into every single minute of our scheduled time.
You will examine the specific mechanics of your breath and support while exploring diverse musical styles. It is quite rewarding to see how a small adjustment in posture or vowel shape clarifies the entire tone.
These sessions are structured to provide you with the exact tools you require to succeed. Everything we do serves the goal of turning initial practice into a polished performance. We simply build it from the ground up until the sound is right.
