About Cesar
Actually, my teaching character centers on finding the specific groove that makes a student want to pick up their guitar every single day. I split my time between performing in San Francisco and guiding students across London and Melbourne through the nuances of electric technique and music theory. My background includes 13 years of experience and a BM from Berklee College of Music. I have worked with over 300 students to date, helping them navigate everything from complex strumming patterns to foundational acoustic technique.
Most of my time is spent supporting self-taught players who crave actual structure or intermediate learners ready to refine their craft. I also enjoy working with kids who are just beginning their musical journey.
Whether the goal is to play at a party or record an EP, I focus on practical application. My approach keeps things direct and ensures we stay focused on the rhythm. You can expect a steady progression that emphasizes clarity and musicality over abstract concepts.

Honestly, the outcome is that you finally sound like the musician you imagined when you started playing. I admit that getting the blues progressions to sit right in the mix takes a bit of patience and time. Since I hold a BM from Berklee College of Music, I rely on a solid foundation to guide our work on improvisation and soloing.
We will tackle the obstacles that keep you from performing your favorite songs with confidence. Working with intermediate learners or self-taught players allows me to pinpoint exactly where technique might be lagging.
