About Willow
Teaching piano for 13 years rarely feels like a repetitive sequence of simple tasks. Most beginners expect instant results but I focus on the mechanical precision of pedaling technique alongside scales and arpeggios. Developing ear training and sight reading requires a disciplined mindset rather than just a quick fix.
My background from the Royal College of Music means I emphasize rhythm and timing as the bedrock of musicality. Hand independence is the final piece of the puzzle that often takes time to settle into place.
