About Martin
Clean architecture defines the difference between a functional script and professional software. My lessons focus on writing code that survives real world scrutiny. We iterate on your projects until the logic is flawless.
I break down complex concepts like object-oriented programming and system design into manageable sequences for board exam students. Every session incorporates technical interview prep with a heavy emphasis on data structures. You will practice HTML, CSS, and database queries in a live environment to solidify these skills.
Technical fluency requires daily habit. I provide direct feedback on your implementations to ensure you understand the underlying mechanics rather than just the syntax.
We keep pushing the boundaries of your current technical capability. Everything becomes simpler with the right framework. You will find that these methods stay with you long after the exam concludes.

Intermediate learners often struggle to bridge the gap between theory and actual software engineering. I find that most students arrive with fragments of knowledge but lack a cohesive mental model of how systems function. My 10 years of experience teaching computer programming involves refining these scattered concepts into structured logic. Graduating with an MSc in Financial Mathematics and a BSc in CS from UNSW gives me a unique perspective on technical problem solving.
I focus on clean code practices and efficient data structures while drawing from my background as a retired quant. Having taught 200 students, I understand exactly where common pitfalls occur in Python, SQL, and JavaScript development. My approach integrates web development and database management to ensure a holistic view of the stack.
We tackle competitive programming and interview preparation through consistent practice and logical refinement. You gain free access to my code templates and cheat sheets as part of our work together.
