About Catharine
Standing before a room of students, I often start by connecting language to the rhythm of daily life. My 13 years of teaching experience are built upon my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies from the Eastman School of Music, which informs how I approach phonetics and natural speaking cadences. I have mentored 185 students through the complexities of verb conjugation, grammar, and formal writing skills.
Whether we are exploring Latin American versus Castilian variants or refining your business Spanish, I ensure the process remains logical and clear. My background allows me to frame complex structures into manageable concepts for my pupils. I look forward to helping you achieve your personal fluency goals through our upcoming sessions.

Fluency is a tangible outcome that changes how you experience the world. Does the idea of navigating a foreign country while speaking the local tongue excite you? I support intermediate learners, travellers, and kids by using methods refined over 13 years of practice.
We might practice everyday phrases or engage in intense role play and dialogue to prepare for your next interview. My degree from the Eastman School of Music helps me emphasize clarity and intonation in every sentence you speak. These sessions are designed to be conversational and approachable for students at any stage.
You will find that grammar becomes much simpler once we start applying it to real situations. We will work together until you feel comfortable.
