About America
Independent artists and intermediate producers deserve a creative partner who understands the mechanics of a hit. Writing songs is a craft that requires constant attention to detail. Over 8 years of practice, I have helped many students turn rough ideas into finished tracks that they feel proud to share with the world.
My approach focuses on the intersection of prosody and phrasing to ensure your words fit perfectly against your melody. We examine rhyme schemes and meter to sharpen your storytelling capabilities.
You will find that melody writing becomes less of a mystery once you understand the underlying structure. Hook and top-line writing are where we spend our energy to create memorable choruses. I enjoy working with teens and serious students who want to develop their own unique voice. If you want to refine your chord progressions and overall song structure, reach out whenever you are ready.

Real session-style workflow is the secret to making songwriting enjoyable and productive for you. You will quickly discover that writing music becomes a manageable habit rather than a daily struggle.
We focus on listening back to your work to identify specific areas for improvement. Since I hold a BFA in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt, I bring a technical ear to our creative process.
We will look at your lyrics and melodies to ensure they communicate your intended message clearly. My 8 years of experience allow me to guide you through the hurdles of arranging and top-lining.
Everything remains hands-on so that you are actively building your catalog during our time together. We prioritize finishing songs instead of leaving them as fragments on a hard drive. It is a practical way to grow as a writer. Please message me if you would like to book a time.
