About Lyra
I am a passionate French tutor with 8 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in French Language and Linguistics. I have taught students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them achieve fluency and confidence through structured, supportive, and goal-oriented instruction.
My teaching approach is patient, flexible, and student-centred. I adapt each lesson to individual needs and learning styles, ensuring that every student feels comfortable while gradually improving accuracy, fluency, and overall communication skills in a motivating and encouraging environment.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, cinema, and culture, as well as travelling and engaging with native speakers. These interests help me bring authentic cultural context, real-life examples, and engaging content into my lessons, making learning French more immersive and meaningful.
