GIS is used in the organization mainly in two ways as below
1. GIS Analyst and Administrator role: Setup and Use GIS Application - Out of Box tools within the GIS software and platform
2. GIS Engineer and Programmer: Develop Tools and Applications using GIS libraries and APIs
Depending on the requirement of student I can teach either of these two.
GIS Analyst and Administrator -
- Learn QGIS, Geoserver, ArcGIS Online
- Analyse the Spatial data using the tools in QGIS, ArcGIS Online
- Publish Web Services and create Web App
GIS Engineer and Programmer
- Explore the different types of libraries available to programme with GIS
- Use Openlayers to develop the Web Map
-Basics of Javascript and HTML
- Consume data from various sources and display in the Web browser
