About Jessica
Struggling to find the right finger placement for a difficult chord is something I remember well. Honestly, I still catch myself adjusting my own grip during long practice sessions.
Tuning and maintenance are usually the first things we refine to keep your instrument singing properly. We move into lead guitar or fingerpicking through a lens of 13 years of stage work and formal study. You will receive a monthly recorded review of your progress to track how far you have come. I promise that we keep things moving at a pace that feels honest and fun.

Living the life of a gigging musician for 16 years meant taking my guitar everywhere from Mexico to the US. Since you might be a teen or an advanced player, I structure our time to respect your specific goals and history with the instrument. My BA in Latin American Music Studies gives me a deep respect for the structure of sound and theory.
I have taught 399 students over 13 years, helping returning learners rediscover their flow and kids find their very first rhythm. My approach pulls from the mariachi and ranchera traditions that shaped my own hands and heart. Let us make some music together soon.
