About Lauren
Spending 13 years playing Americana festivals taught me how to read a room. Music is my primary language. I hold a unique background as a self-taught player who eventually formalized my craft over 6 years of teaching.
Blues progressions and electric technique come naturally after decades of gigging. My approach blends deep theory with the grit of actual performance. I teach reading sheet music alongside practical ear training. Maybe we can grab your guitar and play something soon.

Playing fluidly starts with finding your natural hand position. I focus on fingerpicking and acoustic technique to ground your style.
We work through blues progressions to build your soloing vocabulary. Ear training happens during every meeting.
Grade exam prep is available if you want a formal goal. You will learn guitar maintenance to keep your gear stage-ready. Improvisation becomes fun when you know the map. Beginners get extra attention on basic chord shapes.
