About Shahbaz
I am an ex-BBC journalist, TV-presenter and editor, with native fluent proficiency in the Farsi language. I have dedicated a portion of my life educating both Farsi speakers and non-speakers on Persian poetry and literature. Having published several books my confidence within this language is extremely high; my biggest aim is to connect individuals with the culture, tone and accent of the Farsi language and create a sense of belonging.

I am able to calculate the skill and proficiency of each individual which allows me to determine the workload and level to begin and continue with. I am able to educate students on the history, literature and folklore of the Farsi language and its roots alongside learning the basics. Many students looking into the Farsi language or Farsi-speakers may be intrigued by the poetry of the country and the detail/comprehension of each line and poet’s background.
