About Sam

I'm looking to provide someone with the high level tuition that I wish I'd received when learning Guitar. My Style is metal influenced from bands such as Metallica and Lamb of God - if you are a like-minded individual I believe I'm the tutor for you! I do have a background in music education, although this is my first venture into sharing my knowledge and skill from an online - one to one perspective. I have a degree in Popular Music Production, ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory and I worked as a Music technician/teaching assistant in a secondary school for a year. I have played in bands and have performed at venues across Manchester including the Academy 3

About the lesson

In our primary lessons I will quickly get you accustomed to the instrument - my relaxed and patient personality will allow you to master the complete basics very fast. I will set you small goals to tailor each lesson onwards towards you playing your favourite Songs & Riffs

Perfect! This was my first time taking any kind of guitar lesson but Sam was very kind and accommodating throughout. I was worried about my awkward availability but he was happy to work around it with me, also providing resources to look at until next time. Many thanks!

Dan already gave himself a baseline to learn from, by teaching himself the basics of holding and fretting the Guitar. This made our Initial Lesson a breeze and we were able to effectively set goals and expectations...we were also able to cover some basic Music Theory, Scales and Chords without it being overwhelming! :)
