About Celina
Training at the San Francisco Conservatory provided the rigorous foundation for my MMus degree. I recall the exacting standards of my own Moscow Conservatory trained mentor during long hours in the practice room. 7 years of teaching have shaped my disciplined approach to piano instruction.
I guide students through scales and arpeggios, pedaling technique, and grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity. My focus covers music theory, rhythm, timing, chord voicing, posture, hand position, sight playing, and sight reading. Helping 44 students achieve exam distinctions remains a highlight of my career. I find deep satisfaction in watching technical precision transform into artistry.

Focusing on the music you actually want to play makes the hard work worthwhile. Czerny exercises provide the backbone for our sessions while popular repertoire adds necessary variety.
We begin every new partnership with a diagnostic playing assessment before we set a learning plan. This 8 minute initial evaluation clarifies your current trajectory. You will find that my instruction style is both precise and encouraging as we navigate technical hurdles.
Expect me to prioritize a clear structure that remains grounded in the realities of concert stage expectations. My style aims to keep the keyboard journey demanding yet genuinely rewarding for every student.
