About Charouka
You sit down, adjust your strap, and the first chord resonates through the room. My lessons focus on giving performance-focused students and hobbyists the tools they need to play with authority. We spend time on fingerpicking mechanics and reading tabs until everything feels second nature. You will receive custom backing tracks so you can practice soloing at home between our sessions.
It is rewarding to see students find their own groove. I find it enjoyable to watch a difficult passage finally click into place.

Do you ever wonder how some players make guitar parts sound like they belong to a song instead of an exercise? My path began as a self-taught player before spending 10 years playing the chanson circuit.
I have taught 81 students ranging from absolute beginners to advanced learners. I possess the patience to help you master complex chord transitions or difficult fingerpicking patterns.
It is just me and you here. I focus on making the technical aspects of reading sheet music and tabs feel manageable. You can prepare for grade exam prep with me and see real results. I want you to feel comfortable experimenting with your own sound.
