About Whitney
You arrive with a single sketch pinned to the wall for our first critique. We look at your design theory, examining how your hand sketching and architectural drawing techniques communicate your intent to a selection committee. I offer free access to my reference drawings to provide you with a clear benchmark for professional-grade technical drafting. My background in Python industry work and architecture helps me explain how concept development drives every successful project for university applicants.

Design theory, architectural history, and hand sketching form the backbone of my teaching practice for portfolio applicants. I work with foundation students and career switchers who need to translate their vision into coherent architectural drawings. My 9 years within the London computational design scene provided the industry experience required to bridge concept development with technical drafting. Holding an MArch from Bartlett and a BA from Cambridge, I apply a studio-savvy lens to every critique.
