About Vera
I am a passionate vocal tutor with 15 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on voice. I help students discover and develop their unique sound with confidence. My lessons are designed for beginners, intermediate learners, and aspiring performers.
I offer genre-spanning instruction across pop, classical, jazz, soul, and contemporary styles. This helps students explore different sounds and find what suits their voice best. Each lesson is personalized to match the student’s goals, level, and learning pace.
I focus on building strong vocal technique through breath control, pitch accuracy, tone development, and vocal health. Ear training is an important part of my teaching. It helps students sing in tune and improve their listening skills.
I also teach harmony, improvisation, and basic music theory to deepen musical understanding. These skills allow students to become more creative and independent singers. Learning is practical, engaging, and easy to follow.
I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to express themselves. Confidence grows as technique improves. I encourage students to take small steps and celebrate progress.
My goal is to help every student not only sing better but also connect emotionally with music. I believe great singing comes from both skill and expression. I am committed to guiding each student on their unique musical journey.

My singing lessons are designed to support both The Soloist in Training and The Adult Beginner with a clear and flexible approach. I focus first on pitch perfection, helping students hear and match notes accurately through simple guided exercises. Short daily practices build strong vocal control over time.
For The Soloist in Training, I work on advanced techniques like vocal dynamics, tone shaping, and emotional delivery. We explore different song styles such as classical, pop, jazz, and soul to improve musicality and stage presence. This helps them become expressive and performance-ready.
For The Adult Beginner, I keep lessons simple, supportive, and stress-free. We start with basic breathing, vocal warmups, and easy songs to build comfort and confidence. Small wins matter here, and confidence grows step by step.
I use modern tools like recording software so students can listen to their own voice and track progress. Hearing themselves clearly makes a big difference. Ear training apps help improve pitch recognition and accuracy in a fun way.
Pitch correction tools are also used as a guide, not a shortcut. They help students understand where they go off pitch and how to fix it.
Across both personas, I focus on expressiveness, storytelling, and connection with the song. Students learn not just to sing, but to perform with feeling. Confidence grows naturally when skills improve and progress is visible.
