About Carrie
If you've been yearning to learn something with graphic design, trying to get started, or just need to try it out before you take a leap into going for a 4-year degree, I'm here for you. I can help you walk through all the pieces of graphic design and all the avenues that you can take learning the programs we use.
I found graphic design by chance when I was in college looking to switch majors when my roommate mentioned a job opening at a local printer. That's when the lightbulb in my head went off!
Don't be scared to ask anything. You can't learn if you don't ask. Don't let the introvert side take over, no judgment here from a part-time introvert here!

The classes are for anyone who wants and needs to learn anything specific about graphic design! 100% of my work is done in Adobe Creative Suite. These programs are what professional printers work with and it works seamlessly with their systems.
My lessons start out from scratch like how you would if a client were to come to you with a project. We would start with gathering info, doing research and storyboard sketches, then working on proofs for the client to review. We will also learn how to prepare your files to be sent to be published by professional printers to make sure you keep your printer happy! (Trust me, you want to keep your printer happy.).
