About Ladonna
Do you ever wonder if your current practice habits are actually helping you grow? I studied in the Italian tradition for many years to refine my craft. My 13 years of instruction focus on ear training, bowing technique, and tuning by ear.
I build a solid foundation through scales and arpeggios. Developing vibrato and double stops requires a patient, unhurried hand. These fundamental skills provide the stability necessary for advanced playing. I am ready to guide you through the audition process as your ALL-STATE ORCHESTRA specialist.

Intonation often drifts when a student lacks a clear connection between their inner ear and their physical bowing technique. My sessions provide a structured space where we meticulously refine these movements to ensure everything you play sounds resonant and accurate.
I hold a DMA from the University of Michigan School of Music and apply that same technical rigor to your daily practice sessions. Parents receive a monthly progress report so everyone stays informed about the work we accomplish together. We spend time on specific state audition requirements to make sure you feel prepared for the challenge. You can expect a calm environment where technique is built slowly so it lasts for a lifetime of music.
