Lima provided the vibrant soundscape that eventually led me to earn my Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music on the guitar. These 13 years have been a continuous exploration of rhythm and melody that I now share with hobbyists and advanced performers. Playing in Australia has shaped my ear to hear nuances in strumming patterns and complex barre chords. I have taught 341 students to embrace the groove before the theory.
My academic foundation in guitar informs every power chord and fingerpicking technique I demonstrate. Kids find the acoustic technique accessible while advanced learners appreciate the technical precision of my songwriting methods. This path from Peru to the southern hemisphere remains the core of my identity. I simply love hearing a student finally connect with the instrument.
