About Valerie
Your first class begins with a review of your current drawing set so I can identify your unique spatial language. I implement a design brief assigned after every class to ensure your skills in rendering and concept development grow steadily. My MArch training allows me to critique your work with precision while maintaining your original intent.
We will navigate the history of architecture to inform your modern presentation boards. I bring 13 years of professional observation to your project development. Architecture started for me while sketching late at night in a studio. I found that combining technical drafting with spatial planning creates a better result. Beginners often struggle to bridge the gap between abstract concepts and physical floor plans. My experience includes guiding A-level design students and university applicants through the competitive admission process.
