About Carlos

I've recently moved to New Zealand as of 2022, but I only started running in December of 2023. With the help of a coach and spending hours reading online, I've been able to develop what I consider a good plan to reach my ambitious athletic goals. Since I began, I've been able to drop my 800m time by 10 seconds, and my 1500m time by almost 35 seconds. Therefore, I believe that whatever I've done has been extremely effective. I am currently one of the head students at my school, so supporting students comes with the role. I can still remember once at a local athletics club night, a young kid came up to me asking how I was so fast. I told him, "just train hard, consistently, and most importantly, enjoy it". I still hold to this belief today. With my lessons, I will work with the athlete to develop an effective training plan for success.

About the lesson

I'm currently 17 years of age, but despite my relative inexperience in the sport compared to some others, I believe that this is helpful as it is easier to connect with people of similar ages. Since reading a number of books by Arthur Lydiard and similar coaches, I've learned a wealth of knowledge I'd love to share with the running community. In my classes, I'll work on developing a training plan with the prospective athlete, and hopefully meet on a regular basis to evaluate training.

I can meet with the athlete twice a month, for 30 minutes each. This works out at a cost of $20.00 per month. If you'd like an individualized costing system, please message me directly.
