About Emily
I am a dedicated and motivated person who is passionate about studying. Having recently completed my IGCSEs, I have a strong understanding of the current IGCSE curriculum and exam expectations, particularly in GCSE Psychology (specifically AQA 8182). Psychology is a strong passion of mine, and I am about to embark on a Psychology A-level journey. (And hopefully continue at university by studying clinical psychology)
I achieved consistently high grades in Psychology and developed effective revision techniques that I now aim to pass on in a clear way. I understand how challenging Psychology can feel, and I focus on making concepts easier to understand.
My approach is patient, structured and encouraging with an emphasis on building skills. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

My approach to tutoring is calm, supportive and focused on building confidence as well as skills. I break topics down and use lots of guided practice. I also focus on exam technique, showing students how to structure and approach answers.
My lessons will be 1 hour at a time, although this can be adjusted depending on the student's needs and concentration level.
I am a 16-year-old recent GCSE student with extremely strong results in Psychology GCSE and I understand the current curriculum well. I bring a recent first-hand understanding of what examiners are looking for.
My lessons will be aimed at KS4 students aged 14-16 who want to improve their Psychology skills, build confidence and prepare for exams.
