About Sydney

Hi, there! My name is Sydney and I recently graduated college. It seems crazy that I am only 20 and already have my four-year degree. A few things about me: I began my own personal training business at 16, I used to write for a newspaper for about four years, was Editor-in-Chief of my school newspaper, Educational Director for my sorority, and involved in many other extracurriculars. My degrees are in business and communications because I love finding the perfect words, even for something formal!

About the lesson

Whether you are a visual, auditory or active learner, you can still learn! For me, I am a visual learner followed by practice (active learning). If I were to write a lesson plan for myself, I would begin explaining the concept of the skill we are working on accompanied with examples. From there, I would demonstrate a real-life example and keep practicing with freedom to ask questions, review the lesson again or move on as we see fit. Tutoring elementary to high school, and I also have a special passion for editing papers.
