About Maysn

Hi, I’m Maysn! I’m a friendly, patient and passionate tutor with over three years of experience working with primary and high school students. I have worked both independently and through Art of Smart, providing personalized support and helping students build their confidence and understanding.

I completed high school in 2021, have completed a diploma and am currently studying a Bachelor’s degree. I have a particular passion for English, Biology, Health, Psychology and Arts, and I especially enjoy helping students prepare for Year 12 assessments and exams.

I understand that Year 12 can feel overwhelming, particularly when there is a lot of content to revise. I aim to make lessons feel organized, supportive and manageable, while helping students develop practical study and exam skills.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student, whether they need help understanding content, working through practice questions, improving their written responses or preparing for upcoming exams. My goal is to help students feel more confident and prepared while working towards their academic goals.

Lessons are available online or in Melbourne, and I work with students from Prep–Year 12.

About the lesson

I take a personalised and practical approach to Year 12 exam preparation. I focus on understanding what each student is confident with, what they find difficult and what they want to achieve, then structure lessons around their individual goals.

I can help students with reviewing course content, breaking down difficult topics, practising exam questions, understanding marking criteria, improving responses and developing effective study and exam techniques. I also encourage students to work through questions themselves so they can build confidence and become more comfortable applying what they have learnt.

Lessons are generally 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student's needs and how close they are to their exams.

I have over three years of tutoring experience, working with both primary and high school students as a self-employed tutor and through Art of Smart. I completed high school in 2021, have completed a diploma and am currently studying a Bachelor's degree.

These lessons are designed for Year 12 students preparing for SACs, assessments and final exams. I can provide support in subjects I specialise in, particularly English, Biology, Health and Psychology, and tailor lessons to the student's current level and goals. Lessons are available online or in Melbourne.
