About Phopho

My name is Phopho, and my surname is Mayekiso. I am a qualified educator with 34 years of experience until December 2024 on early pension. I have B.Education Honors specializing in Education Management and Administration. I have been teaching at different levels of basic education, that is, Primary school (Grade 4 - 7) and High School (Grade 8 - 12). I taught Xhosa, English, Accounting, Economics, Business Economics, History, Geography.

About the lesson

In Port Elizabeth, the most common language of communication is Xhosa. It will be good if I meet the students face to face for clearer communication (tutorials). The environment in Eastern Cape will demand that you learn the language for understanding the community. Lessons to start with will be, e.g., Greetings, counting, reporting incidents, etc. Targeting those students who cannot hear and understand Xhosa.
