About Tara
I have been teaching for over 10 years at various levels Pre-K - Grade 12 and post-secondary education.
Creativity and hands-on, interactive tasks are at the core of my instruction. I have helped countless students gain more confidence in their reading and writing skills.

My teaching philosophy is focused on personalization and differentiation. The most valuable lesson I’ve learned in my years as an educator is that there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach to learning. In any educational setting, you have to examine the individual needs and interests of the whole student. That is why I take great care in getting to know each student by analyzing his or her hierarchy of needs, different learning styles, and personality types. To help a student move forward, sometimes you have to take a few steps back and help that student discover his or her true purpose and identity.
