I am a final year Psychology and Philosophy major at Wits University. I am a high school tutor for a variety of subjects. I am also primarily involved in high school professional development programmes and activities across the country. I have also worked in the Czech Republic and Botswana. My passion is to stretch young people into a mentality of international influence and relevance. Not necessarily through a particular subject, but through a dialectical approach of different elements. I teach on the overall basis that perspective influences purpose and possibility. I place a special importance on critical thinking and analysis/interrogation on every aspect as this is an important skill for the South African context and beyond. My approach is that greatness is carved.
Naturally, the approach has very little to do with engaging to fit into what is, but really the possibilities about what could be and how to influence a lived reality/culture/context through rigorous critique and intentionality.
