About Daniel

I started playing the bass guitar in 2004 when I was nine. Throughout my early musical development, I played in many local bands from various genres, playing professional gigs, learning many techniques and working through the grades. I now have a BA in professional musicianship and a plethora of real-world experience: from touring the UK and playing SXSW in the US, to performing live at the BBC's Maida Vale studios. I am also a Songwriter, whose songs have been played on RadioOne, 6Music and appeared on Made In Chelsea. I am a competent bass guitarist, with an abundance of experience that I am enthusiastic to share...

About the lesson

Before I take on a new student, we will discuss your level and what you want to get out of having lessons. From here I will design bespoke tuition suited to you. If you want to learn new techniques or improve on existing ones, work through the grades, learn music theory, how to improvise, or if you just want to learn how to play without the boring stuff, I can help. My lessons are for all ages and of all abilities, from complete beginners to intermediate players who want to improve. Lessons will usually last 1 hour, however, I am willing to offer shorter or longer sessions if required. Based in Brighton, I have a music studio where I teach privately, however, I am also available for online tutoring and home visits. I also teach acoustic guitar and music theory and can assist students with their exams as well. Qualifications: PGCE in music education Advanced DBS certificate Bachelor of Arts in professional musicianship BTech Diploma in Bass Guitar Grade 8 bass guitar public liability insurance 2024 Enhanced DBS
