About Sanika
I am a dedicated Architecture tutor with 5 years of experience working with students of all levels, from beginners to advanced design learners. Over the years, I have taught between 150 to 200 students, helping each one grow with personalized guidance tailored to their unique goals and learning styles. My teaching focuses on blending creativity with technical precision—whether it's mastering design principles, learning drafting software, or developing sustainable solutions. I emphasize a supportive, flexible learning environment that nurtures critical thinking and personal expression. One of my key strengths is helping students build strong architecture portfolios and prepare for studio critiques or university applications. I also bring in relevant subjects such as spatial analysis, environmental design, and visual storytelling to provide a well-rounded understanding of architecture. My teaching methodology for Architecture centers around strong communication, flexibility, accountability, and cultural sensitivity. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, whether students are developing portfolio projects, learning drafting software, or exploring sustainable design techniques. I emphasize accountability by setting clear milestones and providing structured feedback to track progress and refine outcomes. Cultural sensitivity is at the core of my approach—I encourage students to explore how architecture responds to and respects diverse environments and communities. Through discussions, visual tools, and hands-on exercises, I help students build both their technical skills and creative identity. In addition to Architecture, I also teach related subjects such as spatial design, environmental studies, and visual communication. My goal is to guide students toward becoming thoughtful, skilled, and responsible designers who are prepared for both academic and real-world challenges.
