About Nivedita
I’m an Architecture tutor with 8 years of experience and have taught around 150 high school and college students. My passion for education comes from a deep love for design and helping others grow their creative thinking. I enjoy making architecture simple and exciting to learn, whether it’s about design principles, drafting tools, or sustainable ideas. One of my proudest milestones was guiding a group of students in building their first design portfolios, which helped them gain admission to top architecture schools. I focus on giving clear explanations, hands-on practice, and support that matches each student’s learning style. I believe that every student has their own design voice, and my goal is to help them discover it with confidence. Seeing students grow into thoughtful and skilled designers is what inspires me every day.

My teaching methodology for Architecture is based on clear communication, patience, and adapting to each student’s learning style. I believe that good design starts with understanding, not memorizing. I focus on making key topics like design principles, drafting software, space planning, and sustainable architecture easy to grasp through step-by-step guidance and real-life examples. I use sketches, visual aids, model-making, and case studies to bring ideas to life. Each lesson is interactive and shaped around the student’s pace and goals. I encourage creativity while also helping students stay organized and develop a strong design process. I provide regular feedback and support to help them grow with confidence. Besides Architecture, I can also teach subjects like visual communication, basic structural design, and environmental studies. My goal is to create a supportive space where students can explore, experiment, and strengthen their skills as future designers.
