About Pawan
Hello! I am Pawan Singh, an Arena International Master (AIM), FIDE-rated competitive player, and professional chess coach with over 10 years of international teaching experience.
Over my coaching career, I have delivered 3,000+ hours of 1-on-1 instruction to over 300 students globally across the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, the UAE, and Asia. My students range from ambitious young beginners learning their first moves to competitive tournament players pushing past 1500–2000+ rating milestones.
As an active high-level player (2400+ rating on Lichess, 2200+ on Chess.com), my coaching goes far beyond basic tactics or memorizing engine lines. I teach students how to think independently, master deep calculation, and maintain composure during high-stakes games.
