About Richard
I am a high school graduate, I attended Curro Bankenveld and had art as a subject. Spending hours during school and after school in the art classroom I picked up a lot from my art teacher. I submitted some of my artworks to be judged nationally (by renowned local South African artists), where I received many awards.

Attempt, show, teach, attempt again, and repeat. I will always ask my student to show me how they would approach the piece themselves, I will then assess what they have done and see how it can be improved. Afterwards I will show how I would approach the artwork, teach them how I've done it, which techniques I've used. Then ask them to either improve their own piece or to start again.
