About Nikki
Hi, I’m Nikki, a Senior Product Designer at Accenture. I wasn’t always a Full-Stack Designer :) In fact, I started working as a Technical Support Consultant in 2016. During lockdown in 2019, I came across the term UX/UI Design. I spent every waking moment learning, practicing, experimenting and even coming up with app ideas and pitching to people. It gave me the confidence to pursue UX/UI Design as a full-time career. It wasn’t easy, but the journey was worth it, and I learned a lot about myself along the way. Not only did I land my dream job as a Lead UX/UI Designer and Front-End Developer a.k.a Full-Stack Designer, but I also got a 118% increase compared to my previous job, started my own freelance agency - and landed a 5-figure client within 2 months - but I did all of this WITHOUT a degree and WITHOUT paying for a single course/boot camp or certificate.
