Employed as a Trainer/Assessor, Teaching level 1 and level 2 Engineering students and employed Apprentices.

Tasks included: Training all ages of students in the workshop and classroom the basic understanding of engineering processes, examples: Turning/Milling/Hand fitting.

Creating lesson plans and tasks linked to EAL standards.

Running “Corporate” days for milling and turning groups.

FRAZER NASH (MIDHURST). (1997-2012 Current Job for 15 years) Bepton road.

Employed as a c.n.c miller, operating….

Mikron Um 600 vertical/horizontal c.n.c milling machine,
Deckal maho 3 axis machining centre,
Fanuc Alpha oc1 wire eroder (edm)

And currently Deckal maho Dmu 70 evolution Full 5 axis with Heidenhain 426 control.

Tasks include, the manufacture precision parts for many customers of varying industries to a very high standards.
Materials include: stainless steel, non magnetic stainless 440/420, Titanium, Aluminium 6082, Almac tooling plate, Inconel, Peak, Nylatron, and other exotic materials.

Wire eroding (edm) including 4 axis machining (taper cutting).
Horizontal c.n.c machining.

Employed as a C.N.C Miller operating Bridgeport Vmc, Kitimura, Moog Hydra point, c.n.c milling machines. Using Heidenhien and Fanuc control systems with Path trace software. Tasks included the manufacture of small precision components for the “Waveguide” industry.

Skills gained while employed with this company:

The ability to work to extremely close tolerances’ to I.S.O 9000.
The development of new products for customers.
The machining of exotic materials.

Employed as a toolmaker, tasks included the design and manufacture of press tools, jigs, fixtures, and “one off” special purpose machines.
