About Silvia
With over 36 years in the classroom, I have been successful in implementing various teaching and learning techniques that enhance not only the ways my students acquire knowledge but also their attitude towards education. Learning should be a fun exploration of possibilities and desire to succeed.
I am currently interested in neurodiversity and am fascinated by the ability of the human brains to think differently and perceive both opportunities and challenges in unique ways.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Teaching, a Master in Teaching Foreign Languages, and a Master and a PhD in Advanced Studies in Human Behaviour from a US university.
I consider my emotional intelligence, positive energy, patience and the joy of learning I encourage my biggest strengths.

With a dedicated student-centred approach, I deliver exciting, interactive, inspiring, and structured lessons in various fields-Psychology, Sociology, reading, literacy, creative and academic writing, ESOL, Business Management, Leadership, Health and Social Care, university preparation, thesis and dissertation preparation, test preparation, proofreading and editing. I am experienced in SEN, autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. After initial assessment of my students, I design lessons that not only address their individual academic needs but also their personalities, personal circumstances and goals. Encouraging critical thinking and self-awareness and reflection is a big part of who I am as an educator.
From primary school learners to university level students, I offer the same level of commitment and dedication to their personal and academic growth and success.
