About Grace
I am mostly self taught, with the exception of my grandmother teaching me cross stitch at age 8. Since then I have practiced and studied other techniques, including a multitude of traditional stitches, thread painting, and extended techniques such as multi-medium textile arts.

I know that embroidery can be a modern, innovative hobby. And it’s affordable, to boot! For absolute beginners, we start with simple, fun cross stitch patterns on Aida cloth. After this is grasped and students have found their rhythm and style, we move onto samplers in order to learn the core stitches for more free-handed embroidery. For the most experienced embroiderers, I work with them creatively to push their boundaries and support them technically as they explore this art form!
