I am a teacher who values a healthy relationship with music creation and study. Your music lessons should help you feel better about your playing, and help you progress on your instrument. I hope to provide a safe space for you to try new things and find solutions to your obstacles so that you can reach your goals.

I am a local music educator, who specializes in using Gordon's Music Learning Theory to help develop student's ability to connect their ear to their instrument.
In our lessons, we will work on hearing what we are playing on our instruments, by strengthening our listening skills, and if the student is comfortable with singing, our singing skills as well. This method means that we can study as much written music notation as the students wants, and if the student is uninterested in reading music at this time, it is not necessary that we learn using notation!
My lessons are for beginner and intermediate students of all ages! I am an avid music listener and welcome all genres of music. In particular I have experience in Folk, Jazz, Pop, Rock, and Hip&Hop, which provides a wide range of experience for my students.
