About Mayu

I’m from Tokyo and I live in the UK with my English husband and a lovely cat. I am a qualified teacher as I finished the 420h Japanese teaching course in 2018, and experienced since I've been teaching online full time since 2017. I tailor the most efficient private lesson just for you. I teach all levels with various materials. I'm specially skilled with teaching beginners with good textbooks. I provide all materials you would need, but also you can use your own textbooks or materials as well :)

About the lesson

I teach only women to help them speak in feminine and their own way in Japanese. (Men and women speak a bit differently in this language :) I'm specially skilled and experienced with teaching beginners with good textbooks. We learn in textbooks on the lesson. Then I give you homework. If you send me your homework done, I check and get back to you before the next lesson. On the next lesson, we check your homework together, practice the grammar we've learned and learn another grammar. I will always be open for any questions about the language by text once you started learning with me :) Nothing is more fun than talking with students in Japanese who started to learn with me from scratch :)
