About Ryan
I have 6 years experience as a nurse! I started as an LPN right out of high school, and worked with that license while I attended my local university to obtain my Bachelor's of Nursing Science and my RN License.
I currently work on Med-Surg, however I have experience working in the OR, Pre-Op, PACU, Outpatient Infusion, Outpatient Wound Care, Physical Rehab, and DDSD Waiver Assistance. I have a good grasp of basic nursing skills and the knowledge expected as a nursing student.
I personally love to teach, and look forward to having nursing students work with/shadow me when they are available on my unit. If you're looking for an open, safe environment to pad your knowledge I'd love to work with you! There is no such thing as a stupid question! (Cliché, I know!)

The best way to truly understand nursing concepts is to get a grasp of the big picture. I'll walk you through the 'how's and the 'why's of disease processes, medications, treatments, etc. so you can not only feel more confident in sitting for your exams but set yourself up for success in your future practice.
