About Sheila
It took me ten years to complete my Master's degree, and in the process, I saw how my grammar and writing style improved over time.
I realized that I had a knack for noticing errors that weren't detected by my colleagues, even those who were more highly qualified than myself.
I studied further to obtain a proofreading qualification and continue to explore various grammar courses as time permits. I am still learning and improving every day, and I plan to continue to learn until I'm old and wrinkly.
I want to help others achieve their dreams and for them not to be held back by poor English grammar. I have a gift, and I want to use that gift to benefit others.

I provide proofreading/editing services for dissertations and journal articles (postgraduate only). I specialize in the civil engineering field but can assist you in most career fields.
I use both UK and US English and am familiar with common reference styles, such as APA, Vancouver, and IEEE.
But this is not just an editing service. After editing your work, I will run through the edits in person and help you to improve your English.
