About Max
I have 9 years of Piano tutoring experience and teach school students, college students, and working professionals. I am passionate about helping learners overcome difficulties and achieve their musical goals through patient and structured guidance.
My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that learning should be personalized. I first understand the student's current piano knowledge, goals, interests, learning style, and practice habits. I then adapt the lesson plan to match their requirements.
My teaching areas include piano fundamentals, posture, hand coordination, finger technique, scales, chords, rhythm, music theory, note reading, sight-reading, ear training, song learning, improvisation, and performance preparation.
I use demonstrations and practical exercises to explain new concepts. I encourage students to apply their learning through real songs and musical activities.
I believe communication is essential for effective learning. I encourage students to ask questions, discuss challenges, and share their musical interests. I provide clear feedback and guide them toward practical solutions.
I also help learners develop accountability through practice planning. I teach them how to set realistic goals, organize their practice time, and work consistently on areas that need improvement.
A notable achievement in my career is completing 9 years of teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. This has helped me develop strong adaptability and mentoring skills.
My goal is to help students become confident and independent piano players. I want learners to enjoy the process while developing strong technique, musical knowledge, creativity, concentration, and discipline.

My piano teaching approach combines Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I believe students should learn piano skills that they can apply directly to real musical situations.
I first understand the student's current ability, musical background, interests, and goals. I then create lessons that combine technique, music theory, practical playing, and song learning.
Beginners can develop posture, hand position, finger coordination, notes, rhythm, scales, chords, and simple pieces. Experienced learners can improve sight-reading, technique, musical expression, interpretation, and performance skills.
I use demonstrations, written exercises, listening activities, repetition, and hands-on piano practice. I connect theoretical ideas with practical examples so students understand how musical concepts are used while playing.
My flexible approach allows me to adjust the lesson plan according to student progress. I provide additional support for challenging skills and introduce new material when students are ready.
Collaboration helps students take an active role in their development. I involve them in selecting music, setting goals, planning practice, and discussing progress.
I maintain a positive environment where mistakes are treated as part of learning. I encourage students to keep practicing and recognize their improvements.
In addition to piano, I can teach music theory, keyboard skills, rhythm, chords, sight-reading, ear training, basic composition, and music appreciation. My goal is to provide practical knowledge and confidence for long-term musical growth.
