About Shirley

Are you learning English at school, college or university as a foreign language? Are you looking for a teacher that delivers fun and engaging lessons? Are you keen to improve your English language skills? If the answer is yes, then look no further. I am a highly experienced teacher of English. I have been teaching for more than 20 years both in the UK and overseas in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America. During my travels, I have embraced my love of languages and culture. I have a basic level of French and Arabic and can work professionally in Spanish. Most of my teaching experience has been with college and university level students who are studying General or Academic English e.g. IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge exams. I can also teach study skills, business studies and academic writing skills. I have a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching, a Trinity Diploma in ELT and I am currently studying for an MBA in my spare time. If you'd like to discuss your teaching needs, please contact me. University : - King's College London - Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics and ELT [Pass]
